Now, I know your wondering what exactly this post will be about. Well it’s fashion at it’s best while being in quarantine. I know we expected this quarantine and this pandemic to be over by summer time, but it wasn’t and still isn’t. Sadly. When I first heard about this pandemic and the great New York City will not be opening up fully for a long time, all I thought was “So no cute summer fits?” But Ms. Rona did not stop these ladies or men from stunting on the gram and showing everyone that quarantine wasn’t stopping any of them from looking cute.
So the pleasure is all mine to introduce who I think bodied this Summer and loved that they didn’t allow this pandemic to halt their fashion ways:
The first woman I will be showcasing is the beautiful Samiyah. Samiyah is definitely not shy with her love of fashion, and it speaks for itself. This summer she was unbothered by Ms. Rona and still decided to sit or stand pretty and didn’t have a care in the world.
Here we have Samiyah giving us the textbook definition of “pretty N unbothered.”She gave us a bad bitch look with her white tube top and her ripped black jeans. And let’s not look over the fact that her makeup is beat to gawds, You guys already know fashion is all about the whole look and she bodied this simplistic cute look.Whew, That’s it. That’s the post. Just kidding. Samiyah is back at it again with another one her beautiful looks. That top is everything and more, to the perfect execution and I love the silhouette and style of this look. Chic but comfortable. I would pair this with a cute hand bag or a clutch and there you have it, Samiyah is your favorite city girl on the go.“Well shit, what are you doing ?” I got the answer for that when it comes to this look, and that is looking like the Boss Bitch who just started her own clothing brand. Did I forget to mention that? Silly me. That perfect summer top is by her. This lewk is by her. Samiyah the fashionista did not come to play this summer and she upped it with her own clothing brand. Whew! Weren’t those some looks? Absolutely beautiful. But, now were moving to our next beautiful woman who unconditionally glowed this summer, and stepped up her game while she was stepping on necks and Ms. Rona’s. That is the stunning Maria.
Where do I start? This look is everything and more. Literally from head to toe, Maria absolutely bodied this look. To her nails to her toes, She did no wrong except kill the gram with this look. From the skin that she is making ya live for with this green top that straps around her back. And the Jeans?! So cute, these distressed jeans in the front and back with the top is stunning. And she paired with cute white strap up sandals. She is turning her back on any bitch who thought she couldn’t do it. Is it the sun glowing like that or is that just you? Girl, you made me fall in love with the color yellow no matter what the shade is. I adore this look, it is sucha cute summer look, can either go out to a lunch or brunch. To the shades, the top, the jeans and sandals. A summer look like this is exactly what Summer Fashionis about. Last but definitely not least is this beautiful beach look served right up by Maria. Giving me mermaid vibes, if a mermaid were to be bad and boujee.. Maria is absolutely serving us a look with this floral two piece and this sheer mermaid coverup on the bottom. Queen Val is definitely pushing through with this look, this look not only screams fashion, but I love the different type of flair that she is giving with this look. Valentina came and conquered summer, with her fire looks. But if you thought only women could body fashion looks for the summertime take a look at the men.
For the first man who bodied this summer with his fashion looks, hell his looks left me shooketh is King Mo. He was not shy to slay summer, and showed that men can slay summer looks no matter what virus gets in their way.
I absolutely love this look, and the camera most definitely loves him and this look. This a perfect summer look if you want to go out and explore the city in the Summer, maybe in Brooklyn or even Soho. This look is screaming color and it’s screaming fashion all the way from multiple chains to shirt and everything. This is ravishing and unapologetically fire.Ooop! We stunting and looking down on you guys with this look. I wish I could rock this style lol. But Mo definitely rocks this style and aesthetic and bodies it while he is at it. I am completely here for this street look, to the vibes that it gives and the colors that just mesh so well together. Who said this summer was canceled? Mo just showed up and showed out and showed exactly why our melanin is POPPING in the Summertime. If you thought I was done “GUESS” again, because we love color and flair in the Summertime and Miguel gives exactly that.
Miguel is all about giving a hot boy summer, and being stuck in quarantine wasn’t going to stop him from looking fly in his fit. Hell Miguel might be finding himself sponsoring with Guess as a model lol. But this is such a cute summer fit, perfect for a day out anywhere. Miguel said “guess who bitch?” and he stunted on the gram. Papi Shampoo coming in hot with this fire summer fit. Miguel knows exactly how to give fashionable, but still casual fly fits for the summer. I love this fit, and he bodies and rocks it well.
